1 \ INSTALL DOUBLE SIDED TAPE
Peel the 3M Tape Pads off the backing paper. Position the tape in the machined cavity of the shifter paddle. Once
you are confident of the tape’s position, go ahead and place it in the cavity. To ensure the tape is bonded well to
the paddle, rub your finger and press down on the entire piece of tape. Repeat this step on the other OEM paddle.
2 \ CLEAN OEM PADDLE
Use the supplied alcohol prep pads to clean the backside of the OEM paddle. Vigorously rub the cleaning pad on
the backside of the paddle. Make sure the surface is clean.
3 \ APPLY ADHESION PROMOTER
Open the adhesion promoter and rub it on the backside of the OEM paddle.
4 \ MOUNT THE PADDLE
Peel the red backing layer off the 3M Tape Pad. To make this process easier, use a small knife to score only the
top red layer. Make the score mark in line with the pull tab.
5 \ FINAL INSTALL OF PADDLE
Align the Raceseng shifter paddle with the OEM paddle, once you are confident in the position of the two, press
the Raceseng shifter paddle into the OEM paddle. To ensure a good bond between the paddles, squeeze the
paddles together for 2-3 minutes.
6 \ REPEAT
Repeat steps 4 and 5 on the opposite hand paddle.
