Small Screw Driver
1 \ Unscrew and remove the OEM shift knob and spring
2 \ Gently pry the shift boot up and lift the factory reverse lockout handle and boot assembly of the shifter arm.
3 \ Separate the factory reverse lockout handle from the boot by prying on the tabs.
4 \ With the boot free, reinsert the boot into the retainer.
5 \ Insert the Raceseng R Lock into the appropriate orientation.
6 \ With the R Lock successfully installed into the boot retainer, reinstall the assembly back into the car
7 \ Place the spring that was included with the new Raceseng R Lock into the same location as the factory return
spring
8 \ If you’ve purchased a Raceseng shift knob, follow the instructions to install the threaded adapter and knob. If not,
reinstall your factory shift knob onto the shifter arm.
